In a patriarchal society objectification of women’s bodies is the norm. Women are valued for their sexual appeal and ability to be sexually available.
However, females are subject to gender-based violence regardless of age, race, looks, behaviour, or status. Within a rape culture some men perceive all women and girls as sexual beings to be conquered. They will grab and touch without permission, they will assume sexual availability. Women are thus turned into objects and perceived as just another runny hole.
Changing these attitudes is our next cultural revolution.
